Why is Web Design important for a Graphic Design student? First a designer must know a little about a lot of different subjects. Designers need to be able to research on many different subjects, It’s not like you can just do a design for a company based on it’s name. You need to go more in depth, and look at the demographic and psychographic of a companies consumers. you need to be ready to perform your job in a variety of different mediums, and like it or not, a little web design may be one of those mediums, especially if your trying to create a unity with other designs done for a company.
